Well the course is open again after the snow, and is playing well, but long. The course is boggy so be carefull with your trollies around the greens. Also ALL players using the course should be aware of the ettiquette on the course. This goes for MEMBERS and VISITORS. Please avoid SLOW play. Well the Christmas Fun Day was a great day. Some did not turn up which is a pitty for those left to play without partners, however we rasied over £270 for the AIR AMBULANCE this year and a big THANK YOU to those who support this charity and the club charity events you are tru hero's. The day was won by D Lamb, T East, A Clifford and K Hains with a 56.5 combined score off a 6.5 handicap.
New Features: A new page has been added to show GOLF RULES We look to highlight them once a month or so with items that seem to come up a the club.
Here is a list of CLUB EVENTS to mark in your diary. We will provide as much information as provided by the organizer of the event, any details not shown have not been provided by the club or organizer and would require contact of the Club.

TEXAS SCRAMBLE TEAM EVENT
OPEN TO MEMBERS AND VISITORS ENTRY SHEET IN CLUB HOUSE
4 Ball Texas Scramble, Pick your teams and complete the entry form in the Club House, Induvidual players can put thier names on the Board and will be allocated a team in a random draw. 10% of combined handicap will be used for the fourball
The format is that all players drive and the best position is chosen, all players play the next shot from this spot and the best position is chosen again. All players play from this spot and so forth till the hole is holed out. Maximum number of drives per player to be chosen are 4 with 2 floating.
Entry £5 for members or £15 for non-members with a official Handicap Certificate.
Price Includes the competition followed by a buffet of a selection of sandwiches and chips and prizes. To enter please write your name on the notice board or please call 01905 757525 and we will do it for you.
EVERY MONTH MONTHLY STABLEFORD OPEN TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE CLUB.
Please play in these events as they are a great way to get your handicap down and see real improvment in your game. You can tee off any time during the specific day so no need to get up early. (See notice Board for dates)
